Three ways in which you can help

1. Write a letter

Write to the Scottish Government and to planning officers in Dumfries & Galloway and in the Borders who make recommendations to local authority planning committees about applications to build wind turbines.

Details of who to write can be found here.

We offer four model letters that you can download. You may then edit them in your normal word processor as necessary.

scgovcepu.doc - Scottish Government Consent & Emergency Planning Unit
mpmspcllr.doc - MPs, MSPs & Councillors
aecouncillors.doc - Local Councillors

2. Speak and write to the people who are elected to represent you ...

Make your concerns known to local councillors, MPs and MSPs.
Details of who to contact can be found here.

3. Make a donation

Help us fund the cost of saving our scenery.

We need funds to pay for this website, to print leaflets and posters, to obtain information about applications, such as the developers' Environmental Statements, and to get expert help to help us and to represent us at public inquiries. The ongoing costs are significant. We have all put our hands in our pockets to get this organisation up and running and we welcome any support, however small. It all counts. .
